4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Cookies help us make your use of the Site easier and more effective.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We take the security of your personal information very seriously and follow generally accepted industry security standards. We protect your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Credential Isolation
Digital Oilfield does not store or access your account password. All authentication is managed via a secure, third-party identity provider (Microsoft Entra) using industry-standard encryption and security protocols. This significantly reduces the risk of credential theft in the event of a system compromise.
However, no commercial method of information transfer over the Internet or electronic data storage is known to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage in our systems.
8. Do We Collect Information from Minors?
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can contact us using the contact information provided below. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature. As no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
11. US State Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
